Groundbreaker, Creature — elemental, designed by Matt Cavotta first released in Jun, 2002 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
Groundbreaker would be a great addition to a mono-green aggressive deck looking to close out games quickly with its trample and haste abilities. However, its drawback of sacrificing itself at the end step may limit its effectiveness in the long run. Cards like Avatar of the Resolute or Steel Leaf Champion could be better options for a similar aggressive strategy, as they provide more staying power on the battlefield. Overall, while Groundbreaker can be impactful in the right deck, there are potentially better options to consider for consistent performance.

The creature is sacrificed at the end of every turn in which it is on the battlefield. There is no choice about what turn to sacrifice it.
