Emeria Angel would be a great addition to a white-based control or midrange deck that focuses on landfall triggers and generating value through token production. While Emeria Angel is a solid card for creating a board presence and providing evasion with flying, there are potentially better options such as Baneslayer Angel or Lyra Dawnbringer for higher impact and immediate value. However, Emeria Angel could still see play in a deck that synergizes well with its landfall ability and token generation strategy.

The landfall ability triggers whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control for any reason. It triggers whenever you play a land, as well as whenever a spell or ability (such as Rampant Growth) causes you to put a land onto the battlefield under your control. It will even trigger when a spell or ability causes another player to put a land onto the battlefield under your control (as can happen with Yavimaya Dryad’s ability, for example).
