About Druid's Familiar

Druid's Familiar, Creature — bear, designed by Adam Paquette first released in May, 2012 in the set Avacyn Restored and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

This card would be beneficial in a green creature-based deck that focuses on pairing creatures to gain additional bonuses. While Druid's Familiar offers a solid boost to paired creatures, there are potentially better options such as Wolfir Silverheart, which provides a larger power and toughness boost. However, Druid's Familiar could still see play in decks looking for additional creature enhancements and synergies.

Rules

05/01/12

If Druid’s Familiar becomes unpaired, it will immediately lose the +2/+2 bonus. If this causes it to have damage marked on it equal to it or greater than its new toughness, it will be destroyed. The same is true for the creature it was paired with.
