Dead-Iron Sledge, Artifact — equipment, designed by Ray Lago first released in Oct, 2003 in the set Mirrodin.
This card could be beneficial in a deck focused on controlling the board by eliminating threats efficiently. However, it may not be the most optimal choice as there are better options like Sword of Fire and Ice or Umezawa's Jitte which offer more versatile and powerful effects. Dead-Iron Sledge could see play in niche strategies that specifically benefit from its unique ability, but in general, there are stronger equipment cards available in Magic: the Gathering.

Moving Dead-Iron Sledge after the ability triggers will not affect which creatures are destroyed.
