About Chaosphere

Chaosphere, World enchantment, designed by Steve Luke first released in Oct, 1996 in the set Mirage.

A deck that focuses on ground-based creatures and wants to shut down flying creatures would benefit from Chaosphere, as it provides a unique advantage by restricting flying creatures' ability to block. However, in a competitive environment, cards like Gravity Sphere or War Cadence may offer more versatile and impactful effects, making them better choices for similar strategies. While Chaosphere has its niche uses, it may not see widespread play due to its limited application compared to other options available.

Rules

10/01/08

This has the supertype world. When a world permanent enters the battlefield, any world permanents that were already on the battlefield are put into their owners’ graveyards. This is a state-based action called the “world rule.” The new world permanent stays on the battlefield. If two world permanents enter the battlefield at the same time, they’re both put into their owners’ graveyards.
