This card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on casting creature spells and requires mana of any color to do so. Decks that heavily rely on creature spells, such as tribal decks or aggressive creature-based strategies, would benefit from Ancient Ziggurat. However, there are better options available such as Cavern of Souls, which not only provides colored mana for creature spells but also makes them uncounterable, making it a more versatile and powerful choice in most cases. Whether Ancient Ziggurat should see play would depend on the specific deck and its strategy, but in most competitive scenarios, other options may be more optimal.
