Series of the day
Guess today's series
Every guess is compared with today's series attribute by attribute. Green means exact, amber means close, and the arrow says whether the answer is higher or lower than your guess.
How does the series of the day work?
Everyone plays the same series today, and it changes at midnight UTC. You have eight guesses, and every guess is compared with today's series attribute by attribute: debut year, genres, country, language and the network it first aired on.
Nothing about the answer is in the page you are reading. Each guess is checked on the server, so the only way to find the series is to guess it.
Why are seasons and episodes not among the columns?
Because a running show gains an episode every week, so both numbers would change inside a calendar written a year ahead. Only counting finished shows would fix it and would throw out exactly the series people are watching right now. The five attributes here stop moving on the day the show premieres.
Which network is shown when a series changed channels?
The one it started on. A show moving house later does not rewrite its own premiere, so the column stays true for as long as the calendar lasts.
Is anime in this pool?
No, it has its own challenge. Mixing them would make both worse, and the anime one would lose the attributes only it has.
Does sharing my result spoil the series?
No. The shared square carries only the colours of each guess, never the titles you tried and never the arrows, because an arrow tells the reader whether the answer is above or below your guess.
