How does Put them in order work?
Six series, and you arrange them from the oldest to the newest with the arrows. Each check tells you how many are sitting in the right place, and never which ones.
You get five checks. Everyone gets the same six today, and they change at midnight UTC.
Why does it not say which ones are right?
Because that would turn the puzzle into five yes-or-no questions. Knowing how many are in place still narrows the search, but you have to think about which swap explains the number.
Why arrows instead of dragging?
Because dragging fights the page scroll on a phone and does not exist at all for someone using a keyboard. The arrows do the same job everywhere, and they announce what moved.
Are the years hidden on purpose?
Yes. The order is the answer, so the years live on the server and only travel back after you get it right. Then they appear, because by that point they are not a secret from you any more.
Can two series share a year?
No. Every set is built with six different years and at least two years between neighbours, because a tie would make the correct order ambiguous and a run of consecutive years would measure luck instead of knowledge.
