A deck that focuses on casting a high number of noncreature spells would benefit from including Whispering Wizard in its strategy, particularly in a control or tempo-oriented deck. While Whispering Wizard's ability to generate flying Spirit tokens can provide valuable board presence and evasion, there are potentially better options such as Young Pyromancer or Monastery Mentor which have a similar effect but with more immediate impact on the board. Whether or not Whispering Wizard should see play would depend on the specific synergies and strategies of the deck it's being considered for.
