Volcano Hellion, Creature — hellion, designed by Wayne Reynolds first released in May, 2020 in the set Planar Chaos. It's a key card in 9 combos.
Volcano Hellion could be beneficial in a red aggressive deck looking to close out games quickly by dealing direct damage to both the opponent and their creatures. However, due to its potentially high echo cost and self-damaging ability, it may not be the most efficient choice compared to other red creatures with similar effects like Thundermaw Hellkite or Inferno Titan, which offer more immediate impact and board presence. Overall, Volcano Hellion may not see much play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks.

As Volcano Hellion’s enters-the-battlefield ability resolves, you choose a number. Volcano Hellion deals that amount of damage to you and to the targeted creature. You may choose 0.
