About Unfortunate Accident

Unfortunate Accident, Instant, designed by Josiah "Jo" Cameron first released in Mar, 2024 in the set Outlaws of Thunder Junction.

Unfortunate Accident could be useful in a black-based control deck looking to have flexibility in removal options or generate additional board presence. However, there are likely better options available for both creature removal and token generation in most competitive Magic: the Gathering decks, such as Fatal Push for removal and Young Pyromancer for token generation. While Unfortunate Accident may have niche uses, it may not see widespread play in highly optimized decks.
