Soltari Emissary, Creature — soltari soldier, designed by Adam Rex first released in Oct, 1997 in the set Tempest and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This Soltari Emissary card would be beneficial in a White Weenie or Aggro deck that aims to attack quickly and efficiently, as giving it shadow can make it unblockable by many creatures. However, there are better cards for this purpose such as Mother of Runes, which provides protection and can be more versatile in protecting your creatures. Soltari Emissary could see play in specific metas where shadow creatures are prevalent, but in general, it may not be a top choice for competitive play.
