About Snakeform

Snakeform, Instant, designed by Jim Nelson first released in Jul, 2008 in the set Eventide and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

This card, Snakeform, could be beneficial in a deck that focuses on controlling the board by neutralizing powerful creatures with abilities. Decks that aim to disrupt their opponent's strategy by reducing their creatures to simple 1/1 Snakes could find this card useful. While there may be more versatile options available, such as removal spells that outright destroy creatures, Snakeform's ability to draw a card upon resolution adds value and could potentially see play in specific deck archetypes that prioritize tempo and card advantage.

Rules

08/01/08

If Snakeform affects a creature with changeling, the creature will lose its changeling ability, and will no longer be all creature types.

08/01/08

Snakeform doesn’t counter abilities that have already triggered or been activated. In particular, there is no way to cast this to stop a creature’s “At the beginning of your upkeep” or “When this creature enters the battlefield” abilities from triggering.
