Smelt-Ward Ignus, Creature — elemental, designed by Jehan Choo first released in Jan, 2019 in the set Ravnica Allegiance.
This card could be beneficial in a red aggro deck that focuses on quick creature control and aggressive plays. However, there are better options available, such as Act of Treason or Threaten, which offer similar effects at a lower cost without the need to sacrifice the creature. Smelt-Ward Ignus may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limitations and better alternatives in the current card pool.
