Skyrider Patrol, Creature — elf scout, designed by Mitchell Malloy first released in Jul, 2018 in the set Core Set 2019.
This Skyrider Patrol card would be a great addition to a Simic (Green-Blue) midrange or tempo deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing both evasion and a way to buff and give flying to other creatures. While there may be other cards with similar effects, the flexibility and synergy of Skyrider Patrol make it a strong choice for decks looking to establish board presence and apply pressure in the air. It should definitely see play in decks that can take advantage of its abilities.

Skyrider Patrol’s triggered ability goes on the stack without a target. While that ability is resolving, you may pay . If you do, a second ability triggers and you pick a target creature. This is different from abilities that say “If you do . . .” in that players may cast spells and activate abilities after mana is paid but before the target receives a counter and flying.
