A deck that focuses on demon, devil, or imp tribal synergies would benefit the most from including Rakdos, the Showstopper, as it can act as a board wipe for your opponents' non-demon, devil, or imp creatures while leaving your own creatures unharmed. However, in competitive play, there are more efficient board wipe options available, such as Damnation or Wrath of God, which may be more reliable and versatile choices depending on the overall strategy of the deck. Rakdos, the Showstopper could see play in more casual or themed decks where its coin-flipping chaos can add an element of excitement and unpredictability to the game.

Players can’t take any action between the time that coins are flipped and the time creatures are destroyed. For example, if they wish to cast a spell to have a creature gain indestructible, they must do so before Rakdos’s triggered ability resolves, without knowing whether that creature’s coin will come up heads or tails.
