Psionic Entity, Creature — illusion, designed by Justin Hampton first released in May, 2020 in the set Legends and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
Psionic Entity could be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on dealing direct damage and controlling the board. However, the drawback of damaging itself might limit its effectiveness. There are better cards like Lightning Bolt or Chain Lightning that offer similar damage output without harming themselves, making them more efficient choices for direct damage spells in most decks. Psionic Entity may not see much play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to its self-damaging nature and the availability of more optimized options.
