A white control deck would benefit from using Mana Tithe as it provides a cheap and unexpected way to counter spells early in the game. While there are other more versatile counterspells available, such as Force of Will or Mana Drain, Mana Tithe can catch opponents off guard and disrupt their game plan. It could see play as a budget option or as a surprise inclusion in a white-based control deck.
