About Lightning Berserker

Lightning Berserker, Creature — human berserker, designed by Joseph Meehan first released in May, 2020 in the set Dragons of Tarkir.

This Lightning Berserker card would be beneficial in a red aggressive deck that focuses on quick, early-game damage. Its ability to pump itself with {R} and have the option to dash in for hasty attacks can put pressure on opponents. While there may be stronger cards available for similar strategies, Lightning Berserker can still be a solid inclusion in decks looking to close out games quickly with efficient and evasive threats.

Rules

02/25/15

If you choose to pay the dash cost rather than the mana cost, you’re still casting the spell. It goes on the stack and can be responded to and countered. You can cast a creature spell for its dash cost only when you otherwise could cast that creature spell. Most of the time, this means during your main phase when the stack is empty.

02/25/15

You don’t have to attack with the creature with dash unless another ability says you do.
