About Kytheon's Tactics

Kytheon's Tactics, Sorcery, designed by Raymond Swanland first released in May, 2020 in the set Magic Origins.

A white weenie aggro deck in Magic: the Gathering would benefit from using Kytheon's Tactics, as it can provide a significant boost to your attacking creatures and grant them vigilance with spell mastery. However, a more popular and efficient alternative would be Glorious Anthem, which provides a static +1/+1 bonus to all your creatures without the need for spell mastery, making it a more consistent choice for creature-based strategies. Kytheon's Tactics could still see play in specific spell mastery-focused decks, but overall, Glorious Anthem is a stronger option for most decks.

Rules

06/22/15

Check to see if there are two or more instant and/or sorcery cards in your graveyard as the spell resolves to determine whether the spell mastery ability applies. The spell itself won’t count because it’s still on the stack as you make this check.
