Frantic Search, Instant, designed by Jeff Miracola first released in Feb, 1999 in the set Urza's Legacy and was printed exactly in 17 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's a key card in 8 combos.
A control or combo deck that aims to dig for specific cards or generate card advantage would benefit from using Frantic Search in Magic: the Gathering. While Frantic Search offers card draw and mana untapping, it can be outclassed by more efficient options like Gush or Fact or Fiction in certain situations. However, Frantic Search can still be a valuable inclusion in decks looking to quickly cycle through their library or untap lands for additional mana acceleration, making it a viable card to consider for certain strategies.

You choose which lands to untap as the spell resolves. They aren’t targeted, and they don’t have to be lands that you control.
