About Feroz's Ban

Feroz's Ban, Artifact, designed by Heather Hudson first released in Oct, 1995 in the set Homelands and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.

Feroz's Ban would benefit a control deck that aims to slow down the opponent's ability to play creatures by increasing their casting cost. However, there are better options like Thalia, Guardian of Thraben which not only increases the cost of creature spells but also non-creature spells, providing more versatility and impact. Feroz's Ban could see play in specific metagames where creature-heavy strategies are prevalent, but overall, there are stronger options available for this effect in Magic: the Gathering.

A “creature spell” is any spell with the type Creature, even if it has other types such as Artifact or Enchantment. Older cards of type Summon are also Creature spells.
