Echo Tracer, Creature — human wizard, designed by Scott M. Fischer first released in Feb, 2003 in the set Legions and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Echo Tracer fits well in a tempo or control deck that seeks to disrupt opponents while maintaining board presence, as its ability to return a creature to its owner's hand can swing the game's momentum in your favor. However, there are arguably stronger options, such as Snapcaster Mage, which not only provides a body but also allows you to replay powerful instant or sorcery spells from your graveyard, enhancing your overall strategy. While Echo Tracer can be effective, its situational utility and reliance on morph may limit its playability compared to more versatile cards, so it might see niche play in specific decks rather than widespread adoption.

The trigger occurs when you use the Morph ability to turn the card face up, or when an effect turns it face up. It will not trigger on being revealed or on leaving the battlefield.
