About Demonic Embrace

Demonic Embrace, Enchantment — aura, designed by Sidharth Chaturvedi first released in Jun, 2020 in the set Core Set 2021 and was printed exactly in 7 different ways.

A deck focused on aggressive strategies and graveyard recursion, such as a black-based aggro or midrange deck, would benefit from using Demonic Embrace. While the card provides a significant power boost and evasion to the enchanted creature, the ability to cast it from the graveyard by paying a cost can provide additional value in longer games. However, there may be better options depending on the specific deck and strategy, such as more versatile auras like Dead Weight or more impactful threats like Rankle, Master of Pranks, so Demonic Embrace may not always see play in every deck.

Rules

06/23/20

Casting Demonic Embrace with the permission granted by its last ability doesn’t change when you can cast it.

06/23/20

If the enchanted creature dies during your turn, you receive priority before any other player does. If you’re allowed to cast Demonic Embrace at that time, you may do so before any player can attempt to remove it from your graveyard.
