Decks that capitalize on items like Pistol or Gadget can benefit significantly from starting with an additional item in play, allowing for more aggressive strategies right from the outset. While there are other strong Mechanologist cards, such as Dash, the Inventor or High Octane, which can also provide strong resource generation and card draw, Dash, Inventor Extraordinaire stands out for its unique ability to set up the game state early.
