About Card Trooper

Card Trooper, Machine effect monster, designed by Konami first released in Jun, 2022 in the set Astral Pack Five.

A deck that benefits from quickly filling the graveyard with cards for various effects, such as a graveyard-based strategy or a deck that utilizes effects triggered by cards being sent to the graveyard, would find Card Trooper useful. While Card Trooper can provide a temporary ATK boost and draw a card upon being destroyed, there are potentially better cards like Mathematician or Foolish Burial that can more efficiently send specific cards to the graveyard for combo setups. However, Card Trooper could still see play in decks looking to quickly cycle through their deck and set up graveyard plays.
