Auger Spree, Instant, designed by Raymond Swanland first released in May, 2020 in the set Return to Ravnica and was printed exactly in 6 different ways.
The Auger Spree card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on aggressive strategies, such as a Rakdos aggro deck, where the ability to boost a creature's power while reducing its toughness can help to clear the way for attacks or remove threats. However, there are better options available, such as Terminate, which provides unconditional removal without the drawback of reducing the creature's toughness. Auger Spree may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limitations compared to stronger removal options.
