About Armored Ascension

Armored Ascension, Enchantment — aura, designed by Matt Cavotta first released in May, 2008 in the set Shadowmoor and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.

Armored Ascension would be beneficial in a white-based control deck that focuses on controlling the board and generating a significant number of Plains to maximize the power boost and flying ability it provides. However, there are potentially better options like Ethereal Armor or Spirit Mantle that offer similar benefits with additional bonuses, making them more versatile and efficient choices for competitive play. Overall, Armored Ascension may not see much play in highly competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to its mana cost and limited impact compared to other available options.

Rules

08/15/10

The ability cares about lands with the land type Plains, not necessarily lands named Plains.

10/01/09

This ability counts the number of Plains controlled by Armored Ascension’s controller, not the enchanted creature’s controller (in case they’re different players).
