A deck focused on stalling and defensive tactics, such as a control or prison deck, would benefit from including Wall of Resistance due to its ability to gain toughness and potentially become a formidable blocker over time. However, there are more efficient options available in Magic: The Gathering for defensive strategies, such as Wall of Omens or Wall of Blossoms, which provide card draw in addition to defense. While Wall of Resistance has potential, it may not see widespread play in competitive decks due to its slower and more conditional nature compared to other defensive creatures.
