The Warmonger would be beneficial in an aggressive red deck looking to quickly overwhelm the opponent with creature attacks. However, there are better options like Embercleave, which provides a similar boost but also has additional benefits like trample and protection from certain colors. While The Warmonger could see play in specific strategies, more versatile and powerful cards may be preferred in most competitive decks.
