This card, Summary Judgment, would be beneficial in a White-based control deck in Magic: the Gathering, particularly in a deck that aims to control the board by removing threats efficiently. While Summary Judgment's ability to deal 3 or 5 damage to a tapped creature is useful for removal, there are potentially better options such as Path to Exile or Swords to Plowshares that offer more versatile removal. However, Summary Judgment could still see play in decks looking for additional removal options or in limited formats where removal spells are scarce.
