Stab Wound is a strong card for a black control deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a consistent source of damage and can help control the board by weakening creatures. However, there are potentially better options such as Dead Weight or Grasp of Darkness that offer similar effects at a lower cost or with additional benefits. Stab Wound could still see play in certain situations where consistent damage over time is valuable, but it may not be a top choice in competitive decks.
