About Spirit Bonds

Spirit Bonds, Enchantment, designed by Willian Murai first released in Jul, 2014 in the set Magic 2015.

A deck focused on token generation and creature recursion, such as a white weenie or a spirit tribal deck, would benefit from including Spirit Bonds. While it provides a steady stream of flying Spirit tokens and a way to protect key creatures, there are potentially better options like \\Anointed Procession\\ for token generation or \\Teysa, Orzhov Scion\\ for sacrifice synergies. Whether Spirit Bonds should see play ultimately depends on the specific strategy and synergies of the deck, but it can be a solid inclusion in the right build.

Rules

07/18/14

You decide whether to pay as the triggered ability resolves. You may only pay and create a Spirit token once per nontoken creature.
