About Scavenged Blade

Scavenged Blade, Artifact — equipment, designed by Antonio José Manzanedo first released in Sep, 2020 in the set Zendikar Rising and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

The Scavenged Blade card would benefit aggressive red decks looking to boost their creatures' power quickly and efficiently. While it provides a decent boost for a low cost, there are better equipment options available such as Embercleave or Sword of Fire and Ice that offer more versatile and powerful effects. Scavenged Blade could see play in budget decks or as a filler until better options become available.

Rules

09/25/20

Attaching an Equipment with its enters-the-battlefield triggered ability isn’t the same as using its equip ability. You don’t pay mana for the attachment, and if the Equipment enters at a time you couldn’t cast a sorcery, you can still attach it to a creature you control.
