About Rebirth
Rebirth, Sorcery, designed by Mark Tedin first released in Jun, 1994 in the set Legends and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
A deck that focuses on gaining card advantage and doesn't mind risking the ante mechanic would benefit from using Rebirth, as it offers a potential life total reset for both players. However, in most competitive Magic: the Gathering formats, the ante mechanic is not used, making Rebirth a risky and potentially unreliable card to include in a deck. There are better options available for gaining life or affecting life totals without the ante mechanic, such as cards like Sphinx's Revelation or Sorin, Solemn Visitor, which provide more consistent and powerful effects without the downside of ante.
