Murder Investigation, Enchantment — aura, designed by Igor Kieryluk first released in Feb, 2013 in the set Gatecrash and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
A deck focused on creating and sacrificing creatures for value, such as a white weenie or token-based strategy, would benefit from using Murder Investigation. However, there are better cards for this type of effect, such as Anointed Procession or Divine Visitation, which provide more consistent and powerful token generation. While Murder Investigation could be a fun and flavorful inclusion in a casual deck, it may not see competitive play due to its mana cost and reliance on creature deaths.
