About Lord of the Undead

Lord of the Undead, Creature — zombie, designed by Brom first released in May, 2020 in the set Planeshift and was printed exactly in 13 different ways.

This card, Lord of the Undead, would be a great addition to a Zombie tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it boosts the power of other Zombie creatures and provides graveyard recursion. While it is a solid choice for such a deck, there are potentially better options like Gravecrawler or Cemetery Reaper, which offer more versatile abilities or stronger effects. However, Lord of the Undead could still see play in a Zombie-themed deck for its synergy and thematic appeal.

Rules

08/01/05

Lord of the Undead now has the Zombie creature type and its first ability has been reworded to affect *other* Zombies. This means that if two Lord of the Undead are on the battlefield, each gives the other a bonus.
