Honor Troll would be a great addition to a green-based midrange or control deck that focuses on gaining life and maintaining a high life total. Its ability to boost life gain and its own power and toughness make it a solid choice for decks looking to outlast opponents in longer games. However, in more competitive Magic: the Gathering formats, there may be better options available such as Wurmcoil Engine or Thragtusk, which offer more immediate impact and value.
