Grinning Demon, Creature — demon, designed by Mark Zug first released in Oct, 2002 in the set Onslaught.
This card could be beneficial in a black-heavy aggressive deck that aims to quickly overwhelm the opponent with creatures and damage. However, the drawback of losing 2 life each upkeep may be a significant downside, especially in faster-paced games. There are likely better options available that offer similar aggressive potential without the life loss drawback, such as Phyrexian Obliterator or Desecration Demon, which are more impactful threats for a similar mana cost and do not come with a recurring life loss. Overall, Grinning Demon may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its downside compared to other available options.
