Goblin Grenadiers, Creature — goblin, designed by Dan Frazier first released in Jun, 1997 in the set Weatherlight and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This card would be beneficial in an aggressive red deck looking to disrupt the opponent's board state by removing key creatures and lands. While Goblin Grenadiers can be a powerful tool for tempo advantage, there are more efficient options like Goblin Chainwhirler or Siege-Gang Commander that offer similar effects with better value, making them more viable choices for competitive play.

An ability that triggers when something “attacks and isn’t blocked” triggers in the declare blockers step after blockers are declared if (1) that creature is attacking and (2) no creatures are declared to block it. It will trigger even if that creature was put onto the battlefield attacking rather than having been declared as an attacker in the declare attackers step.

Both a creature and a land must be targeted when the ability triggers. If there aren’t enough legal targets, the ability doesn’t go on the stack and Goblin Grenadiers can’t be sacrificed this way.
