About Fishliver Oil

Fishliver Oil, Enchantment — aura, designed by Anson Maddocks first released in Dec, 1993 in the set Arabian Nights and was printed exactly in 6 different ways.

Fishliver Oil would be beneficial in a Merfolk tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, where islandwalk can be particularly powerful due to the prevalence of Islands in opponents' mana bases. However, there are better alternatives such as Spreading Seas, which not only grants islandwalk but also has the added utility of turning a land into an Island, disrupting opponents' mana bases. While Fishliver Oil may not see widespread play due to its limited scope, it could still find a niche in specific metas or casual decks focused on creature evasion.
