Desert of the True, Land — desert, designed by Jung Park first released in May, 2020 in the set Hour of Devastation and was printed exactly in 7 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
The Desert of the True card would benefit a white-based control or midrange deck looking for additional mana sources and card draw options. While it may not be the most powerful land option available, it can provide some utility in certain strategies. However, there are likely better options for mana fixing and card draw in most decks, such as dual lands or utility lands with more impactful abilities, so Desert of the True may not see widespread play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.

Desert is a land subtype with no special meaning. It doesn’t grant the land an intrinsic mana ability. Other cards may care about which lands are Deserts.
