Delver of Secrets is an excellent fit for tempo and aggro-control decks, particularly in formats like Modern and Legacy, where its ability to transform into a powerful flying creature, Insectile Aberration, can quickly pressure opponents while maintaining card advantage through cheap spells. While there are other strong options, such as Sprite Dragon or Monastery Swiftspear, which can also fit similar roles, Delver remains a staple due to its low mana cost and synergy with cantrips and instant-speed spells.
