Darkwater Catacombs, Land, designed by Monte Michael Moore first released in Oct, 2001 in the set Odyssey and was printed exactly in 28 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
The Darkwater Catacombs card would benefit a control or midrange deck that utilizes both blue and black mana. While it provides a consistent source of mana fixing, there are better options available, such as the Watery Grave shockland, which can enter untapped and provides the same color combination. Darkwater Catacombs may not see as much play due to its limitations compared to more versatile lands in the format.
