Crackleburr, Creature — elemental, designed by Mike Dringenberg first released in Jul, 2008 in the set Eventide.
Crackleburr would be a great fit in a deck that focuses on controlling the board and tempo, especially in a blue-red deck with a mix of creatures to utilize its abilities effectively. While Crackleburr offers versatility with its damage-dealing and creature-bouncing abilities, there may be more efficient options depending on the specific strategy of the deck, such as cards like Snapcaster Mage or Vendilion Clique for more immediate impact. However, Crackleburr could still see play in certain metagames or decks looking for a unique and flexible card to add to their arsenal.

If the permanent is already untapped, you can’t activate its ability. That’s because you can’t pay the “Untap this permanent” cost.

When you activate an ability, you untap the creature with that ability as a cost. The untap can’t be responded to. (The actual ability can be responded to, of course.)
