Bladewing's Thrall would be a great addition to a Dragon tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it synergizes well with Dragons by gaining flying and having the ability to return from the graveyard when a Dragon enters the battlefield. While there may be more powerful zombie or Dragon cards available, Bladewing's Thrall's unique abilities make it a strong choice for decks focused on Dragons and graveyard recursion, making it a worthwhile inclusion for players looking to capitalize on those themes.

The second ability of Bladewing’s Thrall triggers even if a Dragon enters the battlefield under an opponent’s control. The owner of Bladewing’s Thrall, not the controller of that Dragon, will control Bladewing’s Thrall.
