Avatar of Might, Creature — avatar, designed by rk post first released in Jun, 2000 in the set Prophecy and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
This card, Avatar of Might, would benefit a deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly and potentially struggles with creature-heavy opponents. Decks with ramp strategies and the ability to control the board could find value in including Avatar of Might as a powerful finisher. However, in a competitive setting, there are likely better options available that offer similar or better effects for a more efficient cost, such as Craterhoof Behemoth, which provides a game-ending impact when it enters the battlefield. Overall, Avatar of Might may not see widespread play in highly optimized decks, but could still be a fun and thematic inclusion in more casual or thematic decks.

The converted mana cost of this card is still 8, even if you only pay to cast it.
