About Armored Galleon

Armored Galleon, Creature — human pirate, designed by Doug Chaffee first released in Jun, 1998 in the set Portal Second Age.

This card would fit well in a blue control deck that aims to stall the game and control the board until the opponent has an Island in play, allowing Armored Galleon to attack. However, there are better options for a 4 mana cost creature in blue, such as Serpent of the Endless Sea, which has a similar mana cost but doesn't have the restriction of needing the opponent to control an Island. Overall, Armored Galleon may not see much play in competitive decks due to its conditional attack requirement.
