Ein rotes, aggressives Deck, das sich auf schnellen Kreaturenschaden konzentriert, würde von Meteoric Mace aufgrund seines starken +4/+0- und Trampel-Boosts profitieren, der möglicherweise schnelle und tödliche Angriffe ermöglicht. Möglicherweise gibt es jedoch bessere Optionen wie Embercleave, das einen ähnlichen Kraftschub mit zusätzlichen Fähigkeiten wie Doppelschlag und Trampeln bietet, was es zu einer vielseitigeren und wirkungsvolleren Wahl macht. Meteoric Mace könnte in preisgünstigeren oder Casual-Decks zum Einsatz kommen, aber wettbewerbsfähige Spieler könnten sich für stärkere Alternativen entscheiden.

A spell’s converted mana cost is determined only by its mana cost. Ignore any alternative costs, additional costs, cost increases, or cost reductions. For example, Bloodbraid Elf’s converted mana cost is always 4.

The converted mana cost of a modal double-faced card in exile is that of its front face. If the last card you exile is a modal double-faced card, you may only cast the back face if the resulting spell would also have a lesser converted mana cost than the spell with cascade.

When the cascade ability resolves, you must exile cards. The only optional part of the ability is whether or not you cast the last card exiled.

The cascade ability triggers when you cast the spell, meaning that it resolves before that spell. If you cast the card exiled by the cascade ability, that spell will go on the stack above the spell with cascade.

You don’t have to cast the last card exiled by a cascade ability. If you choose to do so, you’re casting it as a spell. This means that it can be countered, and appropriate abilities trigger (such as if that spell also has cascade).
