Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie was born on July 2, 1990 in Dalby, Queensland, Australia, and grew up on the Gold Coast. Her mother, Sarie Kessler, is a physiotherapist, and Robbie has described being raised by her mother with her three siblings. Before acting brought international attention, she worked on the Australian soap opera Neighbours. She joined the series in 2008, playing Donna Freedman, and remained a regular until 2011. The role earned her Logie Award nominations and made her familiar to Australian television viewers. Her early screen credits also included the children's series The Elephant Princess and the 2008 Australian film Vigilante. Robbie moved to United States after leaving Neighbours, and her breakthrough came as Naomi Lapaglia in Martin Scorsese's 2013 film The Wolf of Wall Street.
